So Many Roads Ago....
In college in Atlanta..... crazy high on acid.... Lost and found one of my contact lenses out in the lobby during break.... oh, and the music was fanfreakingtastic.....
...
not sure what scares me the most..... that it was almost 37 years ago, or that I remember it like it was yesterday...... Lots of folks liked the next night better..... I'm definitely a fan of 4/10. Maybe because the next night I was tired from my 12 hour "vacation without leaving Atlanta". But probably because of the mind blowing Franklin's, the great Peggy-O, and the IMHO excellent Jack Straw. Whatever the case, there ain't no place I'd have rather been both nights, but especially on 4/10/78!!!!!

Music Almost Stopped
Leave it to Bob to come in on the back beat, way too late, and almost blew the Music Never Stopped to the point where they were a full 2 beats off. It

was hard to recover, but they managed to do it, yet not quite 100%. Donna even starts laughing at one point they are so far off. I love it that they're still human...they seem like gods to me most of the time.

opinion harkening back to the shows in '77 they played there as well. Peace

Monster Franklin's
Takes a minute to get going. Drummers might have been a little drunk. But once it does oh' boy. 17 minute Franklins.
